My furniture renovations got a boost last week when I visited The Shed, a reclaim shop in Orange that has a massive range of old and recycled stuff. They have everything from doornobs to fireplaces, bath tubs to railway sleepers. With the assistance of the very helpful guys from The Shed, I picked up some great 'rustic' looking bits of wood that I need for my furniture make overs.
The lads even helped me cut the wood to size and gave me some tips and advice on what to do next - if only I had a belt sander and jigsaw! Better still the prices at the Shed were superb, definite bargains to be had if chat nicely to the guys there! I paid $5 for both my bits of wood so went home a very happy renovator.
