Without a doubt, Sean the Builder is pretty amazing, he adds all kinds of extra touches that give the deck that WOW factor.
Things like the recessed corners around the step, the lovely border around the edge of the deck, suggestions on lighting, getting everything flush with the house and ensuring the French doors are all aligned properly.
We would never have managed to achieve such a professional looking deck had we tried to attempt this ourselves.
As you can see from the pictures, the beams have started going in, the wiring and electrics are complete and the deck has started to go down.
My job is now to get busy with staining and oiling the beams and rafters over the weekend ready for them to be installed next week.
