Cider Award

Despite the fruit related name, Orange is a region that is renowned for producing apples. Being a major area for all things apples, it is little wonder that we are about to have a national cider awards and dinner held in Orange. As a Brit, I am a big fan of proper traditional style ciders and perry (fermented pears) so can’t wait to try some gold medal winners.

Better still, Josie Chapman will be cooking a 3 course dinner to go with all the lovely cider. This event is taking place at the Old Convent on Thursday September 15th and will be hosted by top organic wine reviewer Max Allen. I already have 2 tickets for the dinner in my hot little hands. If you would also like to attend this event, tickets are $80 and all the details are on the CiderOz website.

Who’s keen to join myself and Mr L’Orange?
