Flix in the Stix - Orange

For the month of February, the Flix in the Stix are travelling though regional Australia hosting an evening of film, music and words.

Flix in the Stix hits Orange on Saturday Feb 9th with the event taking place in the beautiful natural amphitheatre of the Orange Botanic Gardens.

The 2013 line up is superb and includes a selection of short films by guest curator Nash Edgerton (who is a super famous actor and very attractive, I  might add). Musical entertainment from The Whitlams, who I last saw as a backpacker in Sydney and will no doubt get everyone in the mood.

We also get to see larrikin bush poet Murray Hartin which will be a bit different and very in keeping with the regional theme. Will give you a round up post Flix in the Stix.
Tickets to the event cost $36 and you can either bring your own picnic, order a gourmet hamper or buy a wood fired pizza at the event. Cumulus wines are sponsoring Flix in the Stix and selling through the bar at the event, along with the Little Creatures Brewing company – so plenty of cold beer & wine will be available.

Things get rolling at 6.30pm and last until late so make sure you bring plenty of warm clothes for later. If you are planning on having friends or family come up for a visit – Flix in the Stix is the perfect occasion.

We are definitely getting a group of friends together and heading along for what is set to be an excellent night that will give us a bit of a cultural fix and chance to catch up. Hope to see you there!
