Furnished Cabin - Oooh La La

We have had our first guests stay in the cabin! On one of the coldest and wettest weekends we have had in Orange, Mr L'Orange parents came up to give the cabin a test run.

Despite the nasty weather, the cabin stayed warm and cosy and the electric blankets coupled with flannelette sheets were a big hit.

 The space inside is 'smart yet compact' and full of light.

  The outside look, imagine drinks on the verandah in summer, overlooking the (soon to be) stunning garden.

Yet to go in are the curtains, tv mount,kitchen cabinets and under bed storage but we are definitely almost there.

Backyard Cabin - Day 9

The weatherboard cladding goes on and the cabin starts taking real shape. The veranada ends have been boxed in so the cabin is nice and private.

The weatherboard is has come already primed so all we need to do is paint a couple of top coats to finish it off. Sounds easy?

Orange Wine Week Is Almost Upon Us

Orange Wine Week is just 1 week away, if you were thinking of visiting Orange then get yourself organised, book some accommodation and come up here! It is only 3 hours from Sydney with no stops or traffic through the mountains.

The Night Markets are being held on Friday 28th October from 5.30pm in Robertson’s Park and are always a highlight. Definitely call in for a tasting at De Salis Wines, where you are encouraged to bring your own picnic and then enjoy the views either in the vineyard or on the deck.

Whether a local or visitor, why not grab a group of friends and enjoy a perfect lazy day on one of the many wine and grazing trails taking place all over the region during Wine Week.
