We have had a heap of mushrooms growing in the garden with our recent wet conditions. On the advice of plenty of locals who keep praising the virtues of wild mushrooms, I decided to give it a go.
The mushrooms were picked on Sunday morning and looked just like button mushrooms except much fresher and nicer. I chopped them up tonight and popped them in the chilli con carne, they tasted delicious and so far haven't had any weird medical complaints!
