Unfortunately I’ve kind of lost track
of the days a bit with the cabin, easy to do when the tradesmen rarely turn up
when they promise they will. The ridge capping and barge capping are now on, the
hot water system is installed and the inside has been gyprocked and
plastered.
All the days have now blended into
one long paintathon, Mr L’Orange has done all the ceilings and roller work
whilst I have been cutting in and painting the outside. Whilst it was great to
have the Weathtex cladding pre-primed, grey probably wasn’t the best colour as
it takes at least three coats of paint to cover it properly. The cabin is slowly
transforming into something you can imagine living in, unlikely to be finished
before March however L
